The IXO interface Loopback function offers an easy way to stream performances live to the internet. Ideal for hosting live online broadcasts, incoming audio signals (such as a microphone, musical instrument or line source) are merged with content coming from playback software, such as Cubase or another DAW, on your computer. The merged signal is then broadcast online via your choice of streaming software. The IXO22 features latency-free direct hardware monitoring, which allows you to listen to the input signal in real time when recording. Because the IXO22 has an extra input, that model also allows you to choose between mono or stereo direct monitoring.
IXO series interfaces can be used with an audio application such as Steinberg’s Cubasis for iPhone and iPad, giving you a fully mobile audio recording solution. All IXO interfaces automatically switch to Class Compliant (CC) mode when connected to an iOS device, providing an effortlessly intuitive, ultra-portable production experience. The included ST-M01 studio condenser microphone is a high-quality studio mic with a clean, smooth response, exceptional sensitivity and a wide frequency response. Capturing every detail in excellent quality, it’s ideal for recording every nuance of vocals, interviews, acoustic guitar, other instruments and field recordings. Also included is a pop shield to reduce plosives while recording, a low noise microphone cable and a tabletop stand for placing the microphone in the best position.
