Product Information
Two pressure-sensitive buttons and wireless Bluetooth LE connectivity define the Teenage Engineering EP–127 K.O. Pedal, a MIDI controller designed primarily to extend the EP–35 with hands-free control over guitar and microphone effects during live performance. The pressure-sensitive design allows expressive real-time shaping of sound while maintaining focus on instrument or vocal delivery. Modes include looper, metronome, effects, and playback control, all accessible without reaching for hardware controls. USB-C operation and wireless MIDI integration make it straightforward to incorporate into existing rigs alongside the EP–35 or other compatible gear.
Beyond EP–35 control, the pedal functions as both a MIDI and HID controller across different applications. The 3.5 mm MIDI output connects directly to synths and pedalboards for hardware sequencing and parameter control. A 3.5 mm expression pedal input adds continuous control for filter sweeps, volume swells, or any MIDI CC parameter. HID mode switches the pedal into a computer interface for video playback control, presentation navigation, or custom software shortcuts – useful for DJ software transport control or Ableton trigger duties. Power comes from two AAA batteries or USB-C, with the latter enabling simultaneous power and data transmission to a computer or USB host.
