Product Information
The Stylophone S-1 recreates the iconic 1960s pocket synthesiser that defined the sound of novelty electronics for a generation. Driven by a stylus–on–metal–keyboard interface, this battery–powered analogue instrument delivers its signature nasal tones through a built–in speaker and headphone output. The design remains faithful to the original concept: immediate playability with no menu diving or programming required.
Three voice settings shape the tonal character, while vibrato adds expressive movement to sustained notes. The metal keyboard spans a compact range, responding to stylus contact with direct voltage control that eliminates latency entirely. A tuning dial adjusts pitch across a wide sweep, enabling microtonal experimentation or quick transposition. The 3.5mm headphone jack carries line–level output, making the S-1 recordable directly into audio interfaces and mixers without external preamps or DI boxes.
