Sonarworks SoundID Reference Speakers & Headphones delivers studio–grade acoustic calibration for DJ performance and production work. Developed by Sonarworks, a company specialising in reference sound correction, this software bundle pairs speaker and headphone calibration with Apollo’s monitor correction technology. The system eliminates the need for treated rooms or expensive monitoring chains—instead it mathematically corrects frequency response to flat across all audible frequencies, letting producers and DJs trust their mixes will translate to club systems, festival rigs and consumer playback.
Calibration takes under 20 minutes per device using a measurement microphone and existing speakers or headphones. Sonarworks includes 500+ factory headphone profiles ready as presets, whilst speaker calibration saves unlimited custom profiles for different rooms or setups. The custom target feature enables real–time frequency curve adjustment; Translation Check simulates 20+ speaker types and devices without leaving the workstation. Three filter modes—Zero Latency, Mixed and Linear Phase—accommodate different monitoring workflows, with the Apollo Add–On deepening integration for hardware–centric studios.
DJs working mobile or producing between venues gain critical sonic consistency. When transitioning between club monitors, headphone cue–checking during sets and studio production environments, SoundID Reference ensures mixes and edits maintain integrity.
