Product Information
The Shure SLXD24+/B87A pairs a wide-tuning digital wireless system with the Beta® 87A supercardioid condenser capsule, a handheld built for vocalists who demand detail and gain before feedback. Part of the SLXD+ range, it delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio with a dynamic range greater than 118 dB. A 138 MHz tuning window gives engineers and volunteer operators alike the frequency headroom to find clear channels across crowded RF environments where wireless spectrum is at a premium.
Setup stays largely hands-off. Once a transmitter and receiver are linked, ShowLink® Ease keeps them in sync and lets the pair scan, identify open frequencies and re-tune automatically if interference appears. That same link carries remote control over the air, so frequency changes, power output, control locking and transmitter firmware updates can all be handled from the receiver. Wireless Workbench desktop software and the WWB Mobile app add monitoring over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Every receiver embeds the patented Digital Feedback Reducer.
System capacity scales with the venue. In a 6 MHz TV band, up to 11 systems can run at once; an 8 MHz band supports up to 14, useful for multi-mic services, conferences and touring rigs. AES-256 encryption ships on every component for secure transmission, a genuine consideration for broadcast and corporate work. Power runs up to 8 hours on the two included AA batteries, or on the optional Shure SB903 Li-ion pack for rechargeable operation across longer events.
