This 460mm (approximately 18-inch) dual-flex gooseneck features a cardioid condenser capsule with integrated mute switch, locking flange mount for permanent installation, and a shockmount assembly that isolates over 20dB of surface vibration noise. The interchangeable cartridge design allows quick polar pattern changes without replacing the entire microphone body, while the transformerless balanced output ensures maximum immunity to electromagnetic interference across long cable runs.

The cardioid condenser capsule delivers wide dynamic range and frequency response tailored for natural speech reproduction. Balanced low-impedance output provides superior noise rejection in environments with extended cable distances or high RF interference. The dual-flex gooseneck permits precise positioning without sacrificing stability, and the locking flange mount secures the microphone permanently to podiums, lecterns, or tabletop surfaces. Shure includes a snap-fit foam windscreen (RK412WS) to minimise plosives and breath noise.
