Mackie THUMP12V4 12" Powered Loudspeaker w/ Bluetooth

The Mackie THUMP12V4 is a 12” powered loudspeaker designed for DJs and live sound professionals who need serious output without compromise. Built on decades of Mackie’s PA expertise, it combines 1400W of class-D amplification with a custom 1” compression driver and 12” low-frequency unit to deliver 129 dB maximum SPL and bass extending to 39 Hz. The standout feature is SoundCheck DSP™, which offers four distinct voicing modes—Flat, DJ, Live, and Wedge—each optimised for different applications and acoustic environments.

The built-in mixer accepts both XLR/TRS combo and 1/8” inputs across two channels, with channel-one mic/line switching and an XLR mix output that passes both analogue and Bluetooth® signals. Bluetooth® connectivity streams from mobile devices whilst remaining simultaneous with wired inputs, and dual Thump12V4 units link wirelessly for stereo or dual-mono playback. The Thump Connect 2 app enables remote control of all settings, including EQ tweaking, from anywhere in the venue. Additional processing includes automatic feedback elimination, music ducking (critical for DJ announcements), and outdoor-mode compensation. Construction uses premium metal handles and weighs 12.5 kg, mounting via tripod, flypoints (M10), or pole-mounted subwoofer configuration.

For DJ performance specifically, DJ Mode emphasises bass response and punch essential for dancefloors, whilst simultaneous Bluetooth® and XLR input support allows DJs to blend controller output with streaming or backup audio without rewiring. The XLR mix output chains to additional cabinets or subwoofers, making it scalable for larger venues. Wedge-mode orientation and built-in mixer eliminate the need for external preamps in intimate club setups.
