Product Information
Erica Synths' Resonant Filterbank is a desktop analog 10–band stereo filterbank engineered for live performance and studio production. Ten fixed bandpass filters spanning 29 Hz to 11 kHz allow surgical frequency shaping across the spectrum. Manual knobs and full MIDI CC control over each band's boost or cut make it a hands–on mixing tool that rewires how DJs and producers shape electronic sources in real time.
The unit houses 20 independent LFOs, 20 envelope followers, and configurable resonance feedback loops that transform it from a surgical EQ into a generative sound engine. A +24 dB analogue gain stage accommodates synthesizers, drum machines, guitars, and modular gear. Multimode, spectral analyser, and dynamic spectral compressor modes unlock unconventional textures; 128 user snapshots store configurations for recall across sets. Balanced 6.3 mm I/O, DIN 5 MIDI In/Out, and footswitch input keep integration seamless in hybrid rigs. The aluminium chassis weighs 1.1 kg and measures 25.8 × 17.6 × 7 cm.
In the booth, the Filterbank functions as both surgical mixing tool and experimental sound design station. Feed any synth, drum machine, or external audio through it to discover reactive, resonant transformations impossible with standard graphic EQs. MIDI clock sync and morphing snapshot changes sync filterbank sweeps to track BPM, while no–input mixer configurations generate evolving pads and drones from feedback alone.
