Product Information
This 62cm unbalanced cable bridges the gap between standard quarter–inch gear and modular–format CV, gate, and clock signals with a 6.35mm TS connector on one end and a 3.5mm jack on the other. Elektron designed the CA-6CV Patch Cable series specifically to integrate the Outbox 8 breakout box with modular synthesisers and other CV–equipped instruments, though it's equally at home connecting drum machines, sequencers, and any device needing this particular termination. The 62cm length strikes a practical balance for desktop rigs where modules sit adjacent to tabletop gear without excessive cable draping across the workspace.
The cable is available in four distinct lengths – 42cm, 62cm, 92cm, and 150cm – allowing precise cable management across different studio configurations and rack distances. As an unbalanced cable, it's designed for control voltage and trigger signals rather than balanced audio transmission, keeping signal paths clean when patching sequencer outputs to oscillator inputs or sending clock pulses between devices. The construction prioritises reliability in patching scenarios where cables are frequently connected and disconnected during programming and performance.
