Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q7Z-ILS RGBW Moving Head Wash Fixture

The Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q7Z–ILS is a compact moving head wash fixture built for lighting designers who need tactile control and wireless flexibility without sacrificing throw distance. Its motorised zoom spans 5° to 27°, enabling both intimate dance floor coverage and long–throw venue work. Seven quad–colour RGBW LEDs pump out 140 W total, with 50,000 hours life expectancy. The integrated D–Fi transceiver handles wireless DMX or ILS signal communication, eliminating cable runs and simplifying rig deployment across touring and permanent installations.

Connectivity and programming centre on a full–colour LCD display and standard 3–pin XLR DMX connectors. The fixture operates across 9 or 14 DMX channels depending on fader resolution. Pan and tilt range from 180° up to 540° pan and 225° tilt, with selectable pan/tilt modes to suit different mapping needs. Power linking accommodates six units at 120 V or twelve at 230 V, reducing both mains sockets required and cable clutter. At just 13.8 lb (6.3 kg) and measuring 115 x 61 x 35 mm, it handles compact truss arrangements and ground stacking.

The ILS ecosystem integration includes a Totem Mode feature that keeps beams trained on the dance floor whilst the rig is repositioned, eliminating blackout moments during transitions. Strobe rates sweep from 0 to 20 Hz. Illuminance reaches 30,537 lux in narrow mode (5° at 2 metres) and 3,390 lux in wide mode (27° at 2 metres), providing genuine intensity variation across tight spotlighting and broad wash applications. Auto–ranging input voltage (100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz) means one fixture works globally without transformers.
