Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q120 RGBW Moving Head Wash

The Chauvet DJ Sentinel Wash Q120 RGBW is a compact moving head wash fixture built for theatrical colour mixing and dynamic stage fills. Chauvet's design philosophy centres on delivering professional output without excessive weight or power draw, making it practical for both fixed installations and touring rigs that demand flexibility. The headline feature is the 120W quad–colour RGBW LED engine paired with a Fresnel lens that produces polished, even colour washes across mid–range distances.

Construction is straightforward aluminium housing at just 3.5 kg, with a 5 ft power cable standard. The fixture generates 4,189 lumens and 8,710 lux at 2 metres with a 16° coverage angle, suitable for front–of–house washes in smaller to medium venues. Pan and tilt movement spans 540° and 260° respectively, configurable across three pan ranges (180°, 360°, 540°) and two tilt ranges (90°, 180°, 260°). DMX control accepts either 10 or 14 channels via 3–pin XLR, with wireless operation available through the optional IRC–6 remote. Power linking allows chaining up to three units at 120V or five at 230V, reducing cable runs significantly.

Setup and operation benefit from the full–colour LCD screen with text readout, whilst the onboard USB–C port facilitates quick firmware updates without removing the unit. Built–in automated programmes support Master/Slave synchronisation for multi–unit shows. The strobe feature adjusts from 0 to 20 Hz, and the LED source promises 50,000 hours of operational life. The 13 mm bracket hole fits standard mounting infrastructure, and input voltage auto–ranges from 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
