Guitar Amplifiers (or Amps) take the output from your guitar or bass, and amplify the signal, preparing it to be played through a speaker. Many amps include that speaker, while other units simply have the amp (called a ‘head’) and are then connected to a speaker (called a ‘cabinet’).
Many Guitar Amps also include processing such as EQ, presence and distortion. These features, along with the amp (and speaker) itself gives the Guitar Amp it’s character. There are also units that emulate or ‘model’ the amp and effect characteristics of various units for recording or playback through any speaker system.
At Store DJ we understand Guitar Amps. We stock a great range of units from manufacturers such as Roland and Behringer.
