Product Information
It’s orange, it’s got 3 knobs and it’s the best-selling distortion pedal of all time. The BOSS DS-1 hardly requires introduction but remains a great pedal for hard-edged, smoothly sustaining distortion effects.
The DS-1 has been at the forefront of driving rock guitar tone for decades, with a slew of legendary users such as Gary Moore, Kurt Cobain, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani (amongst many others) incorporating the DS-1 distortion as a critical part of their signature tone.
In constant production since 1978, the DS-1 still stands tall in today’s crowded pedal market as a benchmark of rock guitar tone.
