Over 7,000 Customers Can't Be Wrong!
Auralex Acoustics was founded back in 1977 because the acoustic treatment products available at that time were way too expensive and had important disadvantages. In fact, they were so expensive that even the big-budget broadcast and recording facilities said they couldn't afford them! Founder Eric Smith knew there had to be a better way, so Auralex was born in his garage. Finally, great sound was available to all....not just the rich. Now, more than three decades later, Auralex are still providing great products!
Having been in the acoustics, sound reinforcement, broadcast and recording fields themselves for so many years, the team at Auralex have a good feel for what's needed, what really works "and what's fluff." Over the years, they’ve fine-tuned their line and now have in place solid products to solve virtually every acoustic problem - regardless of room size, shape or function. Auralex doesn't make "me too" products, so if a product's in their line, you can rest assured that it's the best it can be at solving a particular problem. You can trust Auralex for solutions that absolutely work - even better than some competing products that can cost many times their prices.
Why do I need acoustic treatment?
Most rooms used for music production haven’t been designed for music from the start. This often means that they do not provide an accurate sound (maybe adding some echo, or effecting frequencies). Acoustic treatment can be used to correct the sound of a room, allowing you to create your music with the confidence that what you’re hearing is ‘true’. Auralex produce acoustic treatment products for any space where audio is created. Their range includes absorption foam tiles, diffusion panels, bass traps and speaker isolation pads, as well as complete room kits.
At Store DJ we understand Auralex. We know how important acoustic treatment is to the accurate reproduction of your sound, and can help with the correct solution for you.
